Me and my family always go there. Friendly staff, good food and fair price. The best fish and chips in town!

Only cash. very busy, but many server, so that the waits are running fast. the squid was big, crispy, but a little overcooked. the chips were plentiful and a bit soggy. good value for money and good service.

Absolutely massive parts of superchips from this newly opened chippy. I wanted to have a big part until I saw a medium. medium for me, small for my wife, and the fish fantastic.

The fish and chips here are absolutely delicious! It's perfect for those with celiac disease because the chips are fried separately, and the fish is cooked without any batter contamination. This has become my go-to spot for fish and chips, as I’ve never had any gluten issues here.

This is a very friendly restaurant. Even when they were closing, they were still willing to serve us. We've been coming to Downham for over 30 years, and we've always had a wonderful experience here. We’ve never left disappointed, and we wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. The owners are lovely, and the food is consistently excellent. I highly recommend visiting this place!
