The Junction - Downey
The Junction
Description
Tucked away in a bustling area, this establishment exudes dive bar charm with an impressive craft beer selection. However, service quality appears to suffer under questionable management, leading to discomfort for both staff and patrons. While the billiards scene and nostalgic decor—adorned with Italian mafia memorabilia—are highlights, unprofessional staff interactions and an unsettling atmosphere diminish the experience. The lack of liquor options and on-site ATMs further complicate visits. Despite its potential as a popular hangout, many customers are reluctant to return, citing a need for significant improvements in service and cleanliness.

Feedback
The ambiance and decor at this restaurant are both fantastic, I can't decide which I enjoy more. The restrooms are clean and the overall environment is classy. They only serve beer, but it is good quality. The happy hour at this place is lively and enjoyable.
Beware of the so-called manager MJ. She clearly lacks an understanding of good service and displayed a horrible attitude towards everyone at our table throughout the entire night. The poor work ethic is evident in the quality of this establishment, as they will go to great lengths to avoid refunding your money. I feel sorry for the staff. Overall ratings: Food: 1, Service: 1, Atmosphere: 1.
The management at this restaurant is lacking professionalism. Witnessing a manager mistreating and talking down to their staff in front of customers creates a very uncomfortable atmosphere.
Great service, great beer selection, open jukebox and 5 or 6 pool tables that are rarely available but when they are they're fun
