Comida Peruana. The food like always is great. I have ate at so called Peruvian restaurants, but nothing come's closer to Cholito. i drive every two weeks to eat this fine cuisine, just like grandma used to make it, and I take advantage of the lunch special, the aguadito de pollo was esquisit, and the arroz con pollo has that special seasonig, that givesd that lima flavor. Amazing food had cau cau and loved it only issue it’s size is small portion. But it’s very good. Customer service is great. Wish they had another place close to us. I recommend this place.Food: 5/5
Best Peruvian food in LA area and Orange County has no competition .
Has this place bookmarked, didint know what I wanted for work lunch and decided to try it out. Got the Lomo Especial(Beef/Shrimp/Chimkin) was not bad at all. Maybe not the best ive had but was well seasoned and portions were just right. Also got the Papa a La Huancaina, sauce is super cheesy. Papas were ok, nothing else going on but the sauce.Pro Tip: They skimp out on the green sauce, make sure you order extra. Its a very, very small little cup.
Good food and good service! Been here once before 2 years ago, and I was in the area again so I decided to come back. Did not disappoint, it was as good as I remembered! I had the Saltado Especial and it was delicious. Full of flavor and very satisfying. Your taste buds and stomach will both thank you
