This restaurant is located in Downtown Downey. What attracted me here was the lively music walking by the restaurant. Every night starting at 7pm they have a DJ set up at the front and the music is loud. They have several big screen TVs so a nice place to watch the games too. The decor is amazing. The bar is the highlight. It's lit up from head to toe and gives off a fun friendly vibe. Has sort of an industrial feel... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Ola Restobar Downey:
The food was excellent, and the menu had a great selection! The only downside was that it took about 30 minutes for our waitress to attend to us, despite the restaurant not being busy. However, I will definitely be recommending it! View all feedback.
Food was good. It was a little loud and I couldn't hear the person I was with very well. But still had a nice time
The michelada flight is worth it and only $11.99 I thought this price was good for 3 different flavors! Their skillet chilaquiles were also spicy crisp and tasty just the way they should be! Definitely going back!!
The drinks are amazing! I ordered the shrimp fries, the spicy tacos, and of course, the pork bell burger. I can't wait to come back and try their brunch menu!

This could easily become a new favorite spot! The atmosphere was fantastic, with friendly staff and great music—mostly in Spanish, which we loved, but they also played some 90s hits. There were so many menu options that it was tough to decide what to eat! The food was so delicious. The guacamole could have benefited from some kale, but we added it ourselves, which was easy to fix. The Ola platter was packed with goodies like taquitos, quesadillas, and nachos. I’m usually not a fan of bark taquitos, but these were delicious with a nice crispiness! The green sauce they provided complemented the quesadillas perfectly. The drinks were fantastic too! The highlight was definitely the Candy flight—especially the middle orange one, while the two on the sides tasted a bit like watermelon. The paloma was delicious and refreshing, made with passion fruit and agave. Stella was my absolute favorite, and I can't recommend it enough! The only thing missing was a dance floor!
