What Rosa Virgen doesn't like about Myra's Salvadorian Cuisine:
They use different cheese for popusas (I did NOT like), also tried the horchata (it was loaded with sugar, same for Maracuyan. My daughter wants to try what I tried, if she likes them I come back and give more stars, but if she doesn’t like them, my rating won’t change. I gave them a 1 star because, the girl was polite. Food super good and freshThey should not have t.v on a restaurant people go to relax have a good meal but the t.v kind of ruin .Food: 5/5
This place is so unprofessional, especially the OWNER'S DAUGHTER.I came in today to meet up with family members that were already here. I came in with a small coffee cup from another coffee shop and was told by the hostess that she would allow it today, but that next time that I refrain from bringing outside drinks otherwise they would ask me to throw it away. I apologized and thanked her for letting me know, as I didn't know. When I sat down the hostess came out again and told me that the owner's daughter was here and that she said that I needed throw that cup away. I said okay, and asked if I could have an extra cup to pour my coffee in and throw away my cup. They told me no, that they couldn't do that. Then they told me that if I was going to order something I needed to order a drink. I said no, I'll take some water. Which then they said they would CHARGE ME FOR WATER because I need to have a drink purchase along with my food otherwise they would not serve me. I said no, so they kicked me out.I have been coming here FOR YEARS and have been coming less and less due to the quality of service and food. The only reason I came today was to spend sometime with my family, but will not be coming here again.I understand that having a drink wasn't allowed, but the hostess lady said it was okay and made me aware of their policy. But to have the damn audacity to push me to throw my cup away and then force me to buy a beverage with a meal otherwise they weren't going to serve me? Even for a damn cup of water? They're completely out their minds.Do better, or your barely surviving business will end up being closed.
The pupusas here are amazing since I've discovered this place I eat here with my family once a week.Food: 5/5
Love the popusas here. I always come here because I haven 't found any other place that sells popusas this good. They have different kinds. I love the pupusas that are stuffed with suquini, I also like the rebueltas and the cheese ones, but my favorite ones are the popusas that have loroco in it. They serve you the plate with a popusa of your choice, your curtido, which is delicious pickle cabbage, and a mild tomato salsa. And if you have a sweet tooth like me, you might want to try their ensalada drink. It is sweet and very refreshing. The place is small but cozy. The waitresses have great actitudes, very welcoming and attentive as soon as you enter the door. So, if you haven 't tried popusas yet, this is the place to go.Kid-friendliness: Is a family-friendly place. They have high chairs, and if you have a baby, you can fit a stroller near your table.Parking: You can park right in the front near the front entrance or you can park in the back where there are plenty of parking spaces.
I love the food, but hate the customer service. In addition, if you get there at 7:00pm, they'll refuse to serve you because they close at 7:30 pm.
