Great place but just don’t sit at the bar area. Slooooow service. Raul has to be the worst employee there alongside some tall older white guy with glasses, those two are the worst servers. Get the 2 for 10 margaritas! View all feedback.

this place must be closed. there we were for famous dave bbq, but could not put on order. I was told it was supposed to be order to go. So I order an appetizer and a drink. the bbq could be order, but not eaten there. but there were only 2 items in the menu. Why do they even say famous dave? the little girl hosting at the door counter is very rude, needs social skills and customer service label. I'll never go there a... View all feedback.
I had a great experience celebrating my birthday month with some coupons and a fantastic offer at Johnny Carino's. As an e-club member, I enjoyed a free pepperoni pizza along with a BOGO entrée deal. The exterior of the restaurant resembles that of Macaroni Grill or Olive Garden, but the interior gives a nod to the Original Roadhouse Grill, complete with roll-style paper towels on the tables in the bar area. Johnny Carino's offers a delightful mess reminiscent of its Italian chain counterparts. When I discovered the free pepperoni pizza promotion, I was quick to log in. The pizza had a decent amount of cheese and was more of a Brooklyn-style rather than thin crust. After adding some crushed red pepper, the pizza turned out to be solid and a great introduction to the restaurant. The service was commendable; I was attended to promptly, and the restaurant was nearly empty when I left. Johnny Carino’s is located in Downey Landing, next to Stewart and Gray Road. I was very satisfied with my free pizza, though I did miss out on using my BOGO deal because I didn’t review it before finishing. I don’t often find myself in the Downey area unless I need to visit the Imperial Permanente Hospital urgent care, but I will definitely keep Johnny Carino’s on my list of go-to places for when I get hungry.
I used to believe that Olive Garden was the fast-food version of Italian cuisine, but sadly, I have discovered what really deserves that title.
The service was poor and it felt like we were bothering the staff. The pasta was overcooked. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. I won't be returning.
