I had a fun night, but there were some issues to address for the winter season. A few small improvements could be made. The hostess could be friendlier, and while we were invited to wait at the bar, there was no bartender available. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Melting Pot- Downer's Grove:
The waitress was nice and seemed to be working as quickly as possible, so perhaps the service was just overwhelmed.
As for the food quality, the cheese fondue was decent, and the chocolate fondue was fine, but neither was anything special. As for the entrees, most of them were over-seasoned, which we all agreed on.
Overall, we had a good time, and the experience was what we came for. It was nice, and we were glad... View all feedback.
It’s differenti enjoyed it. For it to be my first time it’s cool. The rose and rose petals was love too
This was my first time at Melting Pit and when I say it’s one of the best food experiences I’ve had. They also have a Thursday date night which is about half the amount of the two can dine and I will be there because I have to try all the different fondue options. Also don’t forget to purchase that Garlic Wine seasoning it’s THE BEST! The spinach artichoke dip was real good and the ravioli the bomb, I needed a side order but didn’t want to ruin my spread lol but definitely go and enjoy
It was very intimate and a romantic setting. The staff were friendly and gave remarkable recommendations. I truly enjoyed my visit and will be back again;
Food was great and the meal moved at a good pace. The standout was our server, Tia. She was absolutely fantastic.
We enjoyed our experience so much. It is pricy though so one can not go too often. We had a very pleasant waitress and our order was correct from the get go. I wish it didn't cost so much, otherwise we would go a lot more often. Once every couple of years is about all we can do.
