Subway - Downers Grove

I had great customer service during my visit. However, when I ordered a sandwich to eat at home, I discovered a piece of plastic in it. It seemed to be from the salad, but I would appreciate a "plastic-free" option next time.

I've visited this restaurant several times, but this is the first time I've been disappointed. The sandwich I always order has completely changed. I typically get the chicken and bacon sandwich, but I noticed that it's different now. The portion size has shrunk, and I prefer it to be diced. I usually order this sandwich for delivery, and it’s not shredded like it used to be.

The service was good, but the tables could have been cleaned more thoroughly. There was a noticeable smell of bleach while we were eating.

Please note this location and avoid them at all costs! the manager or owner (indian guy) is very rude and cheap on product! I came to this place with the week, remember everything that nobody was in there. he sat on his phone and a worker crashed the floor. it was around 17 o'clock. he didn't speak and said what's going on. I have the daily special turkey sandwich. everything went in order until it was time to jump. also remember that the majority of the vegetables/tips were low, so you would think they can refill it as they are still open for more hours! but still, when I asked no lie after salat, he sprinkled a few on my sandwich, I had to say more for everything I got on my sandwich. he was near the cash during the addition of toppings on my sandwich, as if rushing and don't want to add to my sandwich. he even damped something and I asked if he could repeat what he said. then he went on to say they get too much for this sandwich- I can no longer add! I then answered what they are beating that they hardly add anything to the sandwich and beyond that they should not talk to their customers as it is rude and respectful. I then said they know that I don't want it, and as I said, I will also notify you, then he waved his hand as if he didn't care and that's when I lost my cool and really let him. then I said I don't have to give them my money, I can go somewhere else, a subway that has a better customer service. the only reason I went to this place (first time here btw) is because I was in the opposite and it rained all day and convenient to the time, but I learned my lection. I will never go back here again or recommend this place to anyone I know. Surprisingly, this service is given in downers grove, but if they own their location (part of franchise) some people take it to their heads and think they can talk to people as they want. I'm sorry, this lady, I'm just gonna take my business somewhere else. Too bad I read the other bad reviews after I had a bad experience, but I see why now. they're making love.

Nothing to complain about. Food was very good and fresh.
