Pinecone Cottage Tea House

I had high expectations for our visit which were quickly diminished! Not a warm greeting when you arrive. Food was okay until I discovered a short black hair in my food!! My hair is long and blonde. When I brought it to our waiter's attention, it was like oh, sorry and he brought me another one!!! Are you kidding me, why would I want another one after what I just encountered. Needless to say I had lost my appetite! No sorry from the owner or any type of trying to make it up to us. We left and will NEVER be back. Be weary of this place and their so called great reviews. Go elsewhere for afternoon tea!

I don’t think I’ve ever left a review for any place before, but my partner took me here for my birthday a couple of weeks ago, and it’s probably my favorite date in our over 5 years together. It’s cozy, the tea is delicious, the service was so warm and welcoming, and the food was delightful. I legitimately teared up from how pleasant and wonderful the experience was. I would definitely love to come back with other friends and family sometime soon.

Excellent food. Had the demi tea service. Sandwiches were so delich especially the egg salad. The funchi fries were a nice and novel addition. The tea of the month was so refreshing. Server was very informative and professional. Elegant atmosphere.

We went for Mother’s Day tea and it was absolutely lovely. I am so happy we went with this small shop. Everyone in our party commented how homey the place feels and absolutely loved the decor and soft music. My mom, who has pretty bad anxiety with crowds, felt calm, happy, and at peace here. She especially loved the area as opposed to some fancy place in the city. The food was also wonderful. We tried so many new and interesting flavors we never thought would go together! We also totally thought we’d be served small portions and still be hungry afterwards but by the time desserts came, we were full! Totally want to keep this place a secret for ourselves but I highly recommend this gem.

Came here for the Mothers Day Tea Brunch event and everything was perfect! From the service to the food even the atmosphere of the room. The whole experience was amazing and felt so unique and intimate, I will be definitely coming back :
