Some enjoyed the authentic dishes like kugulis and pelmeni, while others found the food to be overpriced and lacking in quality. Service was a common complaint, with slow and inconsistent service noted by many. However, some customers had positive experiences with attentive waitstaff and delicious food, especially praising the pork schnitzel and sauerkraut. Overall, the restaurant offered a wide selection of Eastern European cuisine in a casual atmosphere, making it a hit for some and a miss for others.
A great dining experience made all the better by the assistance of a waitress whose name was unique and I will fail miserably in attempting to mention it, Oonaga? The food was delicious and modestly priced. We will definitely return .
The food was fantastic. My veal schnitzel was perfectly seasoned, and cooked. The sauerkraut was some of the best that I have ever had. I will be returning in the future.
Grand Dukes has the food I have been eating all my life,77. It reminds me of my Czech Granny Lily and my Polish Granny Eva. And then as time went on my mom and dad kept the food going and me too. I was very lucky to live in Berwyn Illinois with loads of restaurants as well as neighboring Cicero. They are all gone. Grand Dukes brings all Eastern European food together. Delicious. There is such a wide selection of anything you can remember or are eager to try. Your food arrives tasty and hot. Many people celebrate happy occasions which provides fun and happiness for other diners
Fabulous food and very attentive service. Very nice manager.
This is one of the best if you want ethnic food. The portions are huge and so good. Well worth the money
