City Barbeque - Downers Grove

The taste was great, and the prices were affordable. It was lovely to grab some sandwiches along with French fries and a salad. We really enjoyed our dinner. The staff here are very nice.

Make sure to check that you have your entire order in the stapled bag before leaving. I've had two instances where they forgot my coleslaw for my sandwich, and on the second occasion, I even included a note about it, yet they still missed it. This has definitely spoiled my lunch on both occasions. The food is great, but I recommend trying a different location to ensure you get what you ordered and paid for. Order #14188999510900738.

The moment you walk in, you're greeted with a wonderful array of smells, but unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The brisket was sliced against the grain and ended up being quite tough. The chicken was dry, and the beans appeared old, as if they had been prepared the day before. On a brighter note, the fries were excellent!

Delicious food! We are never disappointed with the food or service at City BBQ. Ordered delivery for the first time (we usually pick-up) and food arrived fast and hot. Easy to order on app and good rewards program. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Great selection of meats and sides. Casual atmosphere and good food. Friendly staff too! Brisket was very well prepared.
