While you shouldn't expect gourmet cuisine like Egon Ronay, you can expect a warm welcome at this pet-friendly café. I recently visited a friendly and welcoming cafe with my dog, where I was greeted by a dedicated group of dog owners who frequent the place regularly to chat with Ivan and Janet, the owners. The cafe also attracts non-dog owners who come in for a meal every day. While it may not be a gourmet dining experience, they offer a variety of options including vegan choices. My dog and I enjoyed a simple breakfast of fry-up, tea, and homemade bun. The atmosphere was bustling and lively, with the owners taking time to chat with both the dogs and their owners. Sadly, one regular customer known as "poor builders" was absent as he had passed away. Another regular was in the hospital, and her absence was felt. These events are just a small part of the unique experience at this cafe, which I highly recommend visiting.

I stopped by this place on a whim one afternoon while passing through Dundrum after a walk on the beach with my dog. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was fantastic. It's a great little café to bring your pets to.

What a fantastic place! Bentley (my Labrador) and I had the most enjoyable afternoon. We felt so welcomed, and before we knew it, everyone—both dogs and people—were chatting happily in the café! My breakfast was cooked to perfection, and Bentley even had his own sausage breakfast. He was a lucky dog! Thank you, Janet and Ivan; we had a wonderful time.

What a little gem of a place in Dundrum! This dog-friendly spot is truly delightful. We visited after spending some time at the boat sale right across the street. The food was fantastic, the service was incredibly friendly, and they even took a picture of our dog for us, which was a lovely touch. If you're traveling with a dog and looking for a place to stop, skip Newcastle and head to Dundrum. You won't be disappointed with the great food and reasonable prices.
