Sbarro - Dover
Sbarro
Description
Once a reliable Dover Mall slice spot, the pizzeria now suffers from inconsistent quality and cleanliness. Customers report undercooked stromboli, dried-out pies and food-safety issues that cause illness. Inventory gaps and surprise upcharges frustrate patrons, and mask noncompliance and disorderly counters undermine trust. Staff are described as polite, but quiet foot traffic suggests waning popularity — fixes to kitchen practices, stock management and customer experience are needed to regain confidence.

The large pizza slice is thin and has very little cheese. The garlic bread tastes great. The prices are reasonable.
The pizza looks good. There is never a line which is never a good sign. I took s chance and tried to order some pizza. Went for the 2 NY slices for 8.99 deal(comes with drink). They were out of bottled water. They never made Iced Tea today and when I said ok, I 'll take the house lemonade they told me there is an upcharge. I did not continue with the order and I politely excused myself.
This Sbarro is sub par compared to other Sbarro’s in the state. Only a couple of weeks ago I was in Wilmington and had pizza at Sbarro’s there and he food was much better and when we received our food it was hot. The food at this Dover location is served warm, and even the noodles for the baked ziti didn’t seem like it was fully cooked. Overall it’s not bad but don’t come with high hopes.

Very poor service tonight Order x4 baked ziti and when it arrived there was no red sauce to go with the pasta....called the restaurant all I got told was 'Sorry its watery '... I hung up, don 't go to this location, the workers are NOT making the food correctly! My food vs the picture according to Sbarro... Absolutely tasted disgusting!
