John's Fried Chicken - Dover

Don't be confused by the name, this is an oasis for Dominican food. Pa lo mio! Buffet style lunch service lets you pick out your combinations of choice. Portions are healthy, so come hungry and leave happy with lunch and dinner. Trust me, it's a lot. Buen provecho mi gente!

My new go-to!! Shame on me for not knowing this place has been here 4 years!! The kitchen sink Fried Rice is outstanding!!! Not to mention the rotisserie chicken. Now, EVERYTHING there must be tried! Love it and look forward to tasting the 80 other varieties!

The food is ok but I paid $50 for a large order of rice and an order of ribs. That is ridiculous, the workers do not know the prices of things. Every server gives you a different price they need to get the prices right and everyone on the same page. I feel they are repping people off. 1 large rice and I plastic container of ribs $50. I know meat is expensive but damn that’s more than inflation, it's repping the ppl in the community off. I also called and asked if they delivered and I was told no. But they did not say I could order from Doordash or Uber Eats smh

I have heard lots about this restaurant before coming and I don’t know why I didn’t come sooner.I got the black beans and rice, fried chicken and French fries.Everything was served warm and with a smile. The fried chicken was the crispiest I’ve ever had. The rice and beans were as expected. The French fries were those pre-seasoned frozen fries. Handcut would’ve been better, but they were good nonetheless.The inside is VERY clean. I might even dare to say it was recently renovated, but I’m not sure. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.The price of the food was fair. I paid $13 for my meal and was very full, I was not able to finish it allWithout a doubt, I will be coming back in the near future.
