The food was exceptional, and the service warranted a five-star rating. The ambiance also brings about a wonderful sense of nostalgia. If you value top-notch cuisine, outstanding service from polite staff, and a hint of classic professionalism, then The Countrie Eatery is a must-visit! And yes, the unique spelling with an "ie" is intentional!

Then, when I received my so... read more I had an unexpected experience at this restaurant when my coffee pot dispensed a fly, which I initially thought was a one-off issue. Then, when I received my soup, I noticed something strange on the underside of the saucer that I couldn't quite identify. The chocolate silk looked tempting, but sadly, it tasted stale. When I tried to cut into the pie filling, it fell apart in chunks instead of cutting smoothly. On a positive note, the other members of my group enjoyed their meals and had a pleasant experience. However, I don’t plan on returning to this restaurant in the near future.

The standout items were the fried tomatoes and their signature muffin, which is like a spice cake loaded with raisins and nuts. However, I had to take off a star because we ordered our breakfast potatoes well done, but they came out barely cooked and definitely not crispy. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to ask for a fix, so we had to make do. On a brighter note, the prices were reasonable, and the staff was very friendly, quickly clearing the tables around us as customers left. If we pass this way again, we’ll definitely return for more fried tomatoes and those delicious muffins!
