Love this place, wish it was bigger because it was fabulous! I got a salad and chicken parm and the salad was huge, but the chicken parm I fell in love with! It was cooked and seasoned to perfection! Salad was very good too! I only gave 4 stars for atmosphere because it was so crowded and noisy, but that won't stop me from going back! This place is a hidden jewel! What Will Evans doesn't like about Cartelli's North End Pizza Pasta:
Pizza was just ok. Maybe it was overhyped and I was looking forward to good pizza but I left disappointed and reconsidering the tastes of those who recommended this. For the area, this is a better pizza joint but really don't see the appeal. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 View all feedback.
I went to Cartelli's North End last night for dinner. I originally was going to do take-out but decided to dine in. I ordered Linguini and Meatballs with a glass of wine. A staple Italian meal that hit the spot. Great flavor all around and the meatballs were perfect.
Best Margarita pizza in the Seacoast area. Unfortunately, due to my obsession with Margarita pizzas, I would know. The sauce is light, tasty and soooo fresh tasting. They use the best mozzarella. The crust is perfection, light and crisp. Unfortunately, the Caesar salad we ordered was...inedible. The romaine was brown and rotting on its edges. I'm going to guess they were using lettuce that was cut yesterday, as we ordered soon after their open today. It waspretossed, which is fine. No croutons, which is weird. But lettuce with rotting brown edges is unacceptable to serve to customers. Back to positives -If you order online, they tell you exactly when your food will be ready and they've alwaysbeen on time. We've never waited more than 20minutes. I will continue to buy and recommend pizza here. But stay away from the salads.
This was a solid pizza place discovery. I wouldn't go into this place thinking large floppy NY slices as their large is 15 inches. The crust is nicely charred and crispy adding a great bitter note to your tastebuds and then you get a great simple sauce, rich thick layer of mozzarella, and cutting through all of that was fresh basil. The mozarella was almost too much but the crust supported it all. Cartell's definitely sets the bar for the seacoast and my new favorite joint.

I cannot stress just how large their chicken parm sandwich and pasta dishes are. We are members of the clean plate club and couldn't come close to finishing our meals. Service was kind and food was good. My only complaint is the noise level: the restaurant is extremely crowded and even the patio seating is loud due to music, carryover, and busy roads. I hope business is good so they can get a larger venue to sit more people comfortably. Also if note: you'll need a reservation for weekends.
