visited family near and a fish and chip juicer was suggested. hand on the heart that was the best fish and chips I ever had (and I had a few). large portions despite the ordering of a medium. the fish was very fresh and the teig was still crispy when we got it home, the chips were not fat and light and fluffy, delicious, well made for a great meal View all feedback.
What alastair1967 doesn't like about Market Fish:
Visited this one after work one night great service prices and food were great will use again unlike the cafe next door admittedly busy but stop at the counter one saturday morning for over ten minutes never even acknowledged by the staff there so sod em! Never going back there View all feedback.
I ordered a large family meal and the food was ready and freshly prepared in just 15 minutes. The cod was big, tender, and perfectly battered, with generous portions. I only wish they offered Spam Fritters so I could make this my go-to spot for our "chippy night"!
The food at this restaurant is delicious, but expect long wait times. Despite this, the wait is often worth it. Some menu items are reasonably priced, while others are more expensive as to be expected.
The service was delightful with friendly smiles, the food was delicious, and the hospitality was warm. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to dine in a clean and inviting atmosphere.
Fairy average fish and chips, cooked to order, but when busy the wait can be long. I waited 40 minutes for fish and chips. Maybe phoning ahead would be advisable
I work in the Industrial Estate just around the corner from this Fish Bar and myself and colleagues pop round here to grab lunch most days. The food is good, cooked fresh and consistently high quality as we notice attending multiple times a week how consistently good the food is, we 've never had an off day after months of thrice weekly visits!
