What Darren Hall doesn't like about Brewers Fayre Duke Of York:
This was the second time and we came back because the chicken dish we had the first time was lovely. Sadly this time around was a different story. The food was lukewarm at best the cherry coke didn't taste like cherry and the tables were sticky and felt unclean. Also, as a couple, seated in an area with screaming children which I would advise them not to do. So all in all unsure if I'd come back. View all feedback.
Beautiful meal and good service! the only critism is perhaps to invest in some new chairs to replace the wood back that felt as if they were sitting back it would snap. we played music scenes that float with a few of the empty table next to us!
Even though my auntie works there... everything was absolutely wonderful! Today we went to for my nans birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.. Lauren and I think the other woman was a manger of some sort! I just want to thank you both for making us feel comfortable and making sure we had the best serve possible! Everytime we go, the service is great. The food and quality is great. Definitely will recommend to people.

Second visit this month . Decided to pre book this time reason being they only just managed to fit us in last time as it was so busy . Arrived 15mins early not a problem seated straight away . Ordered the food only 20mins wait .last time the wait was 30mins but you were told that on entry so not a problem . Staff asked twice if everything was alright . The black and blue burgers with extra burger was lush struggled to eat it all .no fish last night due to the fish fryer being broken . Plenty more on the menu though . A reasonable portion of chips or upgrade to sweet potato chips 99p . Not rushed found it a relaxed .very reasonably priced . Staff very helpful . Will be back in a couple of weeks . Advice . Book in advance .
Everyone enjoyed the meal the waiting staff were very helpful and polite
