I loved the gre... read more The best bar in the city by far. wow in comparison to taipei are the foods and drinks so cheap and both offer an excellent selection of pubries. I loved the great selection of music too. the decor is beautiful, but above all the friendly owner, probably a pirat in his last living, is a real, colorful character with some great garnish to say the clientel is an eclectic mix of local students, traveling. teachers and high earning expats. we will certainly return, hopefully with a lot of mates very soon

Glen is a well-travelled guy with loads of fun stories about living in Taiwan, and visiting other countries. He is also a wealth of knowledge on important Asian history. The food is quality Western food which is hard to find in the area.

The burger was... read more I discovered this restaurant while searching for a good burger spot in the city during my overnight stay. I have to say, I was not disappointed. The burger was delicious, the fries were excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. My original plan was to eat, have a couple of beers, and then head back to my room for the night. However, I ended up striking up a conversation with some other diners, which turned out to be the highlight of the evening. It was wonderful to meet men from different places and backgrounds all gathered in one place, engaging in a long chat with the owner, who was a nice guy and shared some interesting details about himself. In short, it was a great meal, a great atmosphere, and great owners. I will definitely be returning in the future.
