Wonderful! We took our 1-year old baby sat on the porch. Great service food. The beer choices on tap are spectacular. Unfortunately, they did not offer beer flights-but they brought us samples of what we asked for.
An absolute sensational experience today! Happenstance stop while in the Reading area, excellent burger, deviled eggs, and the salad! A well appointed craft beer list and the bartender/server happy to give recommendations. While on the subject, thebartender/server, Sam G, was doing EVERYTHING and still made time to provide tastes of the the beer and make sure we weresatisfied! We will definitely be back!!
We stopped here before heading back to Philly after a day on the river. We are so glad we did. The cocktails, beer selection and food were on point and the service was great. Yes, they were obviously short staffed but we sat at the bar and the kind andattentive bartender/server I think his name was Steve) never cut corners when mixing cocktails or checking in with usthroughout our meal. Would definitely recommend and return when in this area!
I feel like Google reviews should roll off after like two years. Most all of the poor reviews are 2+ years old, and don't reflect what we experienced today. Fork Ale was a spur of the moment stop while passing through the Reading area. What agreat decision it was. Food was amazing, arguably the best burger I have ever had. Salad was great, deviled eggs hit thespot. Beer list is long and well-curated. Service was super attentive without being intrusive. Add to this we dines outside, yet had the bartender as a server. He had multiple varied responsibilities, yet excelled at all. I'd give 10 stars if I could.I felt like a regular on a happenstance stop.
