Great Wall Chinese Takeaway - Douglas

I just had a sharing box that included a variety of meats, boiled rice with curry sauce, and a generous serving of chips. For £18, I thought it was fairly good value; however, it was unfortunately overloaded with salt, making it quite unpleasant to eat. I should mention that we typically use salt sparingly, but even so, the dish was not enjoyable. I'm not sure how much salt was used in the cooking process, but I suspect that most of it was added when the dish was served. If you're not a fan of salt, I recommend asking for less when you order.

I had a wonderful meal tonight! When I called to place my order, the girl who took it was always friendly and professional. The prices are great – I never feel ripped off. I didn't have to wait long at all, and the food came out super hot, delivered by the owner himself since we were in isolation. The portions were generous, and we really enjoyed everything. I ordered the new Munch Box, and it was both delicious and satisfying. There was a generous amount of food. I'll definitely be back!

Crispy beef was soggy wouldn’t recommend that and the sauce was a bit tasteless. Also got charged for a payment on card which is suppose to have been stopped in stores. Spoke to the manager about this and he tried to just ignore it. Egg fried rice was pretty nice to be fair. 2/5.
