Emerald Springs Roadhouse

I enjoyed a beautifully large steak sandwich that was fantastic, paired with deliciously crispy hot chips on the side. The ambiance was wonderfully cozy and reminiscent of a country home. For more details about our experience, check out @silvernomadaustralia on Facebook.

I was very disappointed during my last visit. The steak sandwich I ordered cost $16, but it was made with a thin, tough steak and came with wilted lettuce and tomatoes. The chips were undercooked and not enjoyable at all. It definitely didn't compare to the delicious steak sandwiches from the previous owners, which were perfectly prepared and more reasonably priced. My sister and I were really let down, especially since we've spent so much of our lives in Emerald Springs. On a positive note, I do love the relaxing atmosphere of this place.

The hygiene standards at this restaurant are quite poor, to put it mildly. I recommend looking for dining options elsewhere.
