This is actually well before Pine Creek on the Stuart Highway and a good break in a long journey. We stopped on the way to Katherine firstly for some delicious homemade scones and a nice cuppa out on the pleasant verandah where there was a peacock. We figured the food must be good because several road-trains were stopped there and we weren't wrong. On the return journey we stopped there for dinner - generous tasty me... View all feedback.

Ok so this review starts off with positive feedback. Our tour bus called in for morning tea and everything went well. This establishment was clean well maintained nice decor. However the man behind the bar taking the orders was very abrupt (not unusual) for trying...More View all feedback.
Stopped in for a bacon and egg sandwich and coffee on the way to Katherine. Was the highlight of the day. Great outdoor eating area and delicious bacon and egg sanger. Only thing missing was Paul’s ice coffee.
Called in to this place early in the morning for morning tea on AAT Kings day trip to Katherine, food and atmoshere was great, a lot more room inside than you would thing from outside Called in on way back to Darwin for Dinner, very...impressed, seating on outside verandah was very pleasant
Sadly we can only give our experience and those stars are for the staff members for their friendly efficient service. I'm afraid to say our meals were very very ordinary the burgers were almost inedible and the ribs the same. Only that we...were really hungry after a big day on the road none of us would have eaten our meals. Such a shame. Great environment but not the best food experience.
Wow. From the road this looked like your average, dingy road house/hotel. Couldn't have been more wrong. Spotless bar area, including fresh paint job. Super friendly staff, clean toilets and the best hot chocolate I've had in a long time.
This is a quirky place and it was fun visiting it on the way to and from Katherine. The food is apparently nice and you can get a good sunset photo here as well. Outside there is a roadside cross and a sad story attached.
