What User doesn't like about Plains Trading Post Gift Shop Ice Cream Parlor:
I and a coworker were a week here, the staff was friendly, but where it ends. long story short, this place is absolutely infested with bed bugs! my coworker literally has more than 200 bites/scores about his body. please do you please like one and trust them my words, they did the right and reimbursed all to accuse, but never the less, absolutely disgusting. room 130 is where remained. Some questionable people stay here and room service is not available at weeks, but very good price per week price
A neat place to stop. Great feel, great staff. Good ice cream at a good price too. Definitely worth stopping at.
A throwback to old times. Great place to stay in Douglas.
Here in Douglas for a week and thought we’d give it a try. We weren’t disappointed as the service and food was excellent! Wife had a Mexican dish, I Liver Onions, friends Chicken and a steak burger. Portions were generous and it was delicious. Sorry can’t remember our waitresses name but she was pleasant, friendly and added to the enjoyment. We certainly would recommend. The place was unique and interesting.
We were tired of fast food and took a break and went into Douglas. Nothing fancy but one of the best lunches we have had and a friendly staff. The steak sandwich was a hand cut steak on Texas toast. The food was hot and well prepared. Take a detour and head over for some great food.
