Everyone in our group experienced digestive issues after dining here. We hoped it was a one-off situation, so we returned a couple more times to sample other dishes, but we were met with the same disappointments and ended up feeling unwell again. It's surprising to encounter such lackluster Mexican food this close to the border. If you're looking for bland, unseasoned, boiled dishes that vaguely resemble Mexican cuisine, you might want to give this place a try, especially if you're feeling constipated.

I was the only customer on an early Saturday evening, and the staff seemed perfectly fine with that since the restaurant closes at 7 PM. I ordered Sonoran enchiladas, which consist of lightly fried masa harina mixed with onions and cheese, topped with red enchilada sauce and more grated queso blanco. The two young men working there were surprised that a gringo knew about this dish and were very appreciative. The chef-owner even came out of the kitchen to thank me for my visit. Oh, and I must say, the meal was expertly prepared.

The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is fantastic—it's like having home-cooked meals, not processed or frozen. I really enjoyed the margaritas; they’re the real thing! However, the standout was definitely their signature Micheladas, which are made with all the right ingredients!

The server and waitress were incredibly friendly. The food was absolutely delicious, and you can request it spicy if you like, although I can't handle spice myself. It's true authentic Mexican cuisine. I believe it's a family-run establishment. If you're in the area and searching for a great place to eat, this is it! There aren't many mom-and-pop shops around anymore, so let's do our best to support them. Thank you for serving our family and for keeping your doors open!
