For a breakfast beverage, go for the fresh pressed juice of the day or some flying bird botanical tea... The house made pastry selection is also impressive, we had a freshly glazed donut and a chocolate ginger scone with the perfect bite to it.

I just have to add to my previous reviews that the Ginger/Chocolate Chip scones are one of the best things I've ever had. They are simply perfect with a great traditional style scone dough, big chocolate chips and a nice, tangy hint of ginger. They're so good I had to get some extras to take home with me. I can't hardly start my day in Tulsa anywhere but here! -----30 Oct, 2013----- Really liking this place. On my second visit to Chimera I parked at a table to work for several hours. I think their Cafe Americano is about as good as it gets-wonderful rich coffee flavor! I had a bowl of granola and yogurt along with a ginger/chocolate chip scone for breakfast. The granola was very good and the scone was outstanding. For lunch I had a bowl of the tortilla soup which was also very good. Service was very good as well. I really enjoy hanging out here--plenty of computer plug-ins; interesting clientelle; healthy food choices; decent background music that's not intrusive. I'll be back. -----22 Aug, 2013----- Coffee house with a lot more. I tried Chimera for coffee/breakfast this morning and really enjoyed it. There's a good sized dining area with a decent selection of breakfast items (the breakfast tacos were popular). I had the fruit, granola, yogurt bowl which was beautiful in its presentation and tasted great. The coffee was great too. It should also be noted that Chimera has a full bar so if you want something stronger than coffee that's available too. I plan to come back for lunch next time.--26 Aug 2015---I still come here every time I'm in town.  It's the place to get my coffee and start my day. Tonight I came to have a night cap cocktail and get some work done--great place to hang out and fun, young crowd at night.  A must do place when in Tulsa.

One of the other guests asked me if I was ok. Really great place. I'll come back next time I'm in Tulsa, unless my uncle invites me for breakfast.

The time it took... read more The service from the two teenagers at the counter was really disappointing. The coffee was terrible, and none of our questions were addressed. The time it took for the girl at the counter, who seemed to have a very lackluster demeanor, to assist us was quite amusing in a frustrating way. When we shared our concerns, she just laughed. It felt very unprofessional.
