This cafe offers breakfast and lunch and also alcoholic drinks. You order from the counter and they give you an alphabet sign, the food will be delivered to your table. You can serve yourself a glass of water by the entrance. I ordered kale salad with chicken. The kale was hard to chew. I rarely order kale but there wasn't other preferable option. The chicken was also tough. On the other hand my husband had a sandwich with red pepper jelly and he said it was amazing. It's a nice combination of sweet and spicy. The bread was thick and nicely toasted. I also had a bowl of chilies. I could tell it was homemade, not too salty but I wish that there was more broth.
Wonderful, small local restaurant in downtown with great ambiance to grab a meal. They have great vegetarian and vegan options as well. I had a chance to stop by Chimera for a private event as well as for breakfast and I found my experiences there to be quite good. The staff were polite and helpful and the ambiance was nice. It is a small place, but wasn't too crowded..so it allowed me to just enjoy my time with the food and connecting with people in my party. The breakfast tacos were wonderful. I had a chance to try the disappear and the dirty boots tacos $4.5-$5.5 ea) and thought both were really good! I really liked the dirty boots because it's a vegan version..yet was so tasty that I would definitely eat it again! Overall, great spot for sure! Glad I was able to check this place out. Note: they have a variety of cocktails, coffees, drinks, etc..but no diet soda my low-key go to choice of drink)!
Wow!!! What a find! We came here looking for a healthier and different breakfast option while in Tulsa and we certainly found it. We had the diamond sea burrito and the carrot lox pesto wrap. I was blown away by both. So much flavor in both. To drink we tried the golden turmeric latte which was delicious! Service was excellent. Ambience was relaxed and decor was nice.
My Aunt Clarice called to tell me about our grandmother passing away while I was on my here. It was really sad but the food and service were excellent. One of the other guests asked me if I was ok. Really great place. I'll come back next time I'm in Tulsa, unless my uncle invites me for breakfast.
The service from the two teenagers at the counter was really disappointing. The coffee was terrible, and none of our questions were addressed. The time it took for the girl at the counter, who seemed to have a very lackluster demeanor, to assist us was quite amusing in a frustrating way. When we shared our concerns, she just laughed. It felt very unprofessional.
