They understand how locals can be biased towards their local restaurants, but that was not the case this time - this place is excellent! The prices, even during times of inflation and shortages, are amazing. I went on a Saturday and there was a line wrapped around the corner, but it was worth the wait. It lived up to all the positive reviews - the cheapest and best meal I had all week, and I have been in 8 states since Sunday. The only thing I would suggest changing is to serve the cole slaw cold instead of next to the hot meal, as I prefer it that way.

I was driving to my hotel when I accidentally stopped at a traffic light and noticed an interesting restaurant on the left. I decided to stop in and try their super large chicken with mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and their delicious sweet tea.

The food at this restaurant was all delicious, but I found it strange that I ordered a side of yams for $1.67 and only received two small patties. I ended up paying $5 for six of them. The staff seemed very busy and not very friendly. The service was for takeout and the meal was categorized as "other." The price per person was between $1 and $10.
