We happened to be in Douai on a Monday night never a good night to eat out in France. We wanted something easy but good and this fitted the bill perfectly. Run by an Italian patron, the pizza's are traditionally cooked in a wood...fired brick oven and were very good. The restaurant itself is small and intimate, the staff were very friendly and the prices reasonable. Who could ask for anything more View all feedback.
What Sister Jerde doesn't like about Pizzeria Fata Morgana:
I had booked a large table (about 20 people) and we were all very disappointed: hard reservation (late time,) laborious and unpleasant service, many dishes were no longer available and the quality of the meals did not catch anything. View all feedback.
We were randomly in douai on a Monday evening never a good night to eat in france. we wanted something light, but good, and that was perfect for the bill. the pizza is guided by an Italian paraglider and is traditionally cooked in a wood...fired oven and were very good. the restaurant itself is small and intimate, the staff was very friendly and the prices appropriate. who could ask another question?
Welcome to the arrival of a flamboyant host. the entire atmosphere in the small well maintained restaurant was one of the joyful of all the diners. the mix of Italian/French cuisine was ideal for our needs and desires. good food, good business and pleasant environment. the perfect evening for us.
We stumbled randomly on this restaurant and sat on the terrace because the weather was good, there were some people eating pizza that looked good. the waitress was really unfriendly. we asked if we could eat, she told us to go and ask. he said we could eat, so we sat on the terrace. the table was dirty, and another waitress poured out the dirty soapsuds from cleaning in the dachrinne in the middle of the terrace, so that everything smells as shallow. we asked for a cup of wine in the house. that is, without exaggerating, the worst wein I've ever drunk. I don't think it was just table wine or something, it's hardly resemb ied wein at all, and it seemed like it was diluted with water. I do not know how to do this, but is an absolute scandal for France and Italy, two countries with a long wine tradition. the food was edible (I ate a tagliatelle bolognaise, my friend aubergine speciality court from the house, but far away from living to the expectations (the window says cuisine italienne gastronomique', not worth it price and the portions were much too small (more or less the half of what they would expect for a normal pasta my restaurant on avoid!

Warm welcome, chichi-free service, pizza served very quickly. we took a four seasons generously garnished and very pleasant in flavors.
