Metro Diner - Dothan

It took a little while before someone came over to take our drink orders. The restaurant is usually quite busy. The menu is reasonably priced. On that visit, I ordered the chicken and waffles. The waffles were thick yet light and fluffy, while the chicken was crispy and tasty. Overall, the food was enjoyable. The ambiance definitely has a classic diner vibe. The waffle was served with strawberry butter.

I don't often visit places like this, but it was exactly what I was looking for in a diner experience! Even though it was already 1 o'clock, I was able to order breakfast for lunch, while my father and son enjoyed chicken sandwiches. My southwest bowl was fantastic—very fresh and perfectly portioned. Everyone else loved their meals as well, and the service was quick and friendly.

Wow! Searching for a breakfast spot turned out to be the best decision ever. The staff was fantastic, and the food was incredible. The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable.

Really delicious. Portions were huge, but really good. The hubs had the chickens and waffles that were good from the chain, and my chicken and biscuits eggs Benny were also super good, eggs perfectly stabbed the old fashion way. Ask for Pinky, our server, she's great and super friendly. You did everything right. Even a manger stopped at the tables to see how everything was.

We were seated right away. The food was plentiful and came out quick! What more could we ask for when starving first thing in the morning??? Oh, prices were reasonable and they have a military discount. Our server was also attentive and kind. I only wish they had more gluten free options, such as waffles, pancakes, and the chicken! I have gluten sensitivity (not allergy), so I got the chicken and waffles anyway. It was the best restaurant fried chicken that I have ever had. Surprisingly it didn?t bother me too bad. I would definitely eat it again.?
