Nestled in a competitive BBQ scene, this restaurant promises warmth and flavor but has left many patrons disappointed. While some enjoy the homey atmosphere and commendable service, others criticize low-quality dishes, such as lackluster charcuterie boards and bland pulled pork. Many report inconsistent customer service, with infrequent check-ins from waitstaff and mistakes in to-go orders. Conversely, some diners rave about the delicious handmade burgers and unique sides. Ultimately, it appears this establishment's potential remains unfulfilled, oscillating between moments of charm and culinary letdowns, prompting a mix of enthusiasm and skepticism from its visitors.

Was Eusebio Langworth at Fatback's a mag?
So many BBQ places in the wiregrass yet not many that are worth the trip. Thankfully, Fatback's is worth the trip. They offer good drinks with a variety of different foods. A bit on the pricey side, but not more so than the other top BBQ places in the area. The shop has a real mom and pop feel to it and the servers are laid back and accommodating. View all feedback.
What Fleta Reinger dislikes about Fatback's:
The staff was very courteous and pleasant, but we had to ask for drinks both times we were empty. Also, on my family preference, Wished they had more wing sauces to choose from. Preferably lemon pepper sauce style! View all feedback.
I visited this restaurant for the first and last time today. To start, the waitress was neither friendly nor helpful. The pork sandwich was below average, but the fries and chicken strips were decent. Unfortunately, the coleslaw was old. After we placed our order, our original waitress disappeared through the back door, and another server brought out our food. She never returned to check on us or see if everything was satisfactory. I won't be going back!
This restaurant is excellent for dining in, but terrible for takeout. They made a mistake with my order and only partially fixed it. There's nothing worse than finding a cold piece of cheese on a cold hamburger. I wouldn't recommend spending your money here!
We ordered the smoked charcuterie board, which turned out to be a basket filled with low-quality sausage, pimento cheese just thrown onto some parchment paper, generic saltine crackers when we expected something like Ritz, and poorly cut pickles. That was supposed to be our appetizer, but it really spoiled our appetite instead. My husband had the smoked pulled pork, which had the consistency of sawdust and clearly came from the freezer. It was reheated and seriously lacking in flavor, with barely any sauce. To make matters worse, our waitress never came back to offer drink refills. I ordered the sausage dogs, which tasted like something you'd find at a discount store—definitely not high quality. As for the coleslaw, it had an unpleasant bleach-like taste. It felt like there was absolutely no effort put into the food! The kitchen staff really needs a lesson in flavor because this was severely lacking. Honestly, I wish I could give this restaurant zero stars because it doesn’t even deserve one. There was no effort displayed, even in the presentation of the food!
