Description

A convenient Doswell stop with a broad selection and often friendly, helpful staff, popular with I‑95 travelers, hotel guests and Kings Dominion visitors. Guests praise the variety and consistent service at times, but experiences are mixed: expect occasional rude or overworked attendants, a malfunctioning coffee dispenser, stale snacks, gas-pump problems and even locked doors despite 24‑hour claims. Restroom access is currently unavailable and some favorite drinks (cream soda) may be missing. Worth a visit for convenience, but exercise caution and confirm services before relying on them.

I brought my own cup, but the French Vanilla Cappuccino wasn't dispensing properly. The staff member opened the machine to fix it, but then gave me a smaller cup instead. I also bought my friend a Butterfinger candy bar, and it was awful. It crumbled as soon as he opened it and tasted like it was stale, as if it had been sitting around for months. We tried to collect all the pieces and ended up tossing it out the window. I've never encountered a candy bar that tasted so bad.

Worst gas station experience ever the guy behind the counter wouldn’t help us at all because our pump wasn’t working at all so we asked to switch it and he said sure and gave us a receipt we thought it was all well until the same thing happened we went back and this process repeated like 5 times until he just got angry at us and told us that we have to pay again for gas we didn’t even get then he just proceeded to walk away. Don’t come to this gas station

The restaurant is conveniently located near Kings Dominion, boasts a well-stocked selection, and the front staff were extremely kind, polite, and helpful.

I visited the 7-Eleven on November 12, 2022, at 8:00 PM and found the doors locked even though there were customers inside. When I knocked, an employee came to the door and explained that he couldn’t clock in until 10 PM. He was very rude, shouting that the store had to remain closed for another 10 minutes because he was on break. He even suggested we go to the Exxon instead and refused to open the door. This was incredibly frustrating, especially since 7-Eleven is supposed to be a 24-hour convenience store. I’ve never experienced such rudeness before and will not be returning to this location in Doswell. From now on, I will choose to go to Exxon instead.
