I was disappointed with the food, but the service was excellent. However, it was disheartening to see the cook speak rudely to the very nice waitress while I was paying. Such a shame!
The food was good and the waitstaff were very friendly. We were the last customers on Mother's Day, a busy day that seemed to tire out the staff and left them short on several menu items. My chicken fried steak was fine, but unfortunately, the mashed potatoes were unavailable. I would visit again, but I would avoid going on Mother's Day.
Yesterday a group of cyclists and volunteers headed from Llano to Kerrville and Mother Nature had other plans, completely un announced we showed up and the staff welcomed us and immediately started a pot of coffee and cooked on the spot 30 burgers. Really good food and nice people. They have live music that isn't too loud to enjoy dinner. The BBQ was excellent. The Chicken Fried Steak was HUGE with a real piece of steak, and it isn't greasy. We saw one of the steaks and they looked good. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
