Bies Resto Grill - Dorval

Awful experience! went there to celebrate mothers day with my wife and kids... to begin with, no kids promo that day, because it was going to be full ... of course it was not full at all, they failed to advertise this change anywere or at least mention it when making the reservation... then food was not good at all... been at Barbie 's at Mirabel ant that is a very good place but not the Dorval one. To finish, the waitress asked us to take the bill because they were waiting for a lot of customers after us and she didn 't want them to wait... What? my kid 's were eating their dessert and this lady wanted us to pay and go asap?... This is by far the worst restaurant I 've ever visited in Montreal. We had an exceptional experience today for Mother's Day. We ate very well, the portions were generous and everything was fresh and delicious. We ordered pizza, burger, steak burger, Greek chicken skewers. Recommended 100%. The tropical sangria was delicious and came with a generous portion of the free nachos. For dessert they recommended the tiramisú which was really perfect and to finish our meal we had magnificent strawberry mimosas. Of course I will go back. My husband and I moved out of Montreal 2 1/2 years ago. When we lived here in Lachine next to Dorval) we often stopped at Barbies for lunch since it was a close drive to my husband‘s work and to my work. It was always satisfying, not a high-end restaurant Just a great place for lunch with decent food decent prices. However, it has changed hands and is probably one of the worst restaurants I have ever eaten at, I wish that I had taken a picture of my very pathetic “Greek salad “ It was basically a plate of lettuce with a few Julian pieces of tomato, green pepper and red pepper, a couple of olives, and a couple of very thin pieces of feta cheese. The worst Greek salad I’ve ever had. My friend had fish and chips and it followed the same path, probably the worst fish and chips ever, very greasy batter with a Razor thin piece of fish inside. The old Barbies has gone and been replaced by an expensive Low quality franchise. I feel it is only fair to add, that we did make a complaint about the salad and they did deduct the price from our bill.
