der Lennhof - Dortmund

The worst bed I ever slept in! the bed was missing from the upper mattress, both I and my mother could not sleep all the weekend because the bed was so hard and uncomfortable. the room looks like they found different furniture in...home or whirl stores. do they also have football pictures in the rooms and at decorations in the hotel? do they not really understand when they try to stay stylish? the only thing that was nice with the room was the bathroom, a little small, but clean and newly renovated. we had dinner in the hotel on the first day, not very impressive. I doubt they're really in the Michelin guide. the food is okey, but absolutely nothing special, I have a bead that tasted like black? and for the desert they served burned vanilla cream, that is just a normal crème brûlée. it was good, but nothing special again. we were in many good restaurants in my life, and also many michelin and that is not it. only a normal restaurant. they also began to clean and “close” tables while there are 4 tables and dining rooms. not very professional. the breakfast was good.

I was here a night with breakfast. my room was small, because I only needed a small room. it had a double bed and was tidy and tidy. checkin was friendly, but they didn't give me many information. I thought the breakfast was between. I had to ask where my room was. I didn't look for a lift because there wasn't one. Not surprisingly, because it was a historical building (scientific.) I found on the morning that the guests who had requested my room earlier to move out as it was too hot. I agree with them. the aircon was very loud and fought to keep the room at a bearable temperature, as my room was in the angled dach. the aircon would have been in order if he had held a ton, but it was like hearing an old oil oven. it was during a very hot magic. I went to the breakfast room at 08:40 and was the only one there. the buffet has been removed or has never been in place. that said almost all the guests had gone. (I don't count as hospitable) I think the breakfast buffet at 08:40 instead of 10:00 is quite early. I was offered eggs, fried or culled. I asked for an omelette and received one that was good. the buffet was delivered on a large dish and was ok. a good selection of broth rolls also on a separate plate. the hotel seems to be a place for parties and weddings and is probably very good for such things. To sum up, I just wanted a good night sleep I didn't have because of air and warmth (I switched off air cone and tried with an open window) which is the decisive factor for my stay. I was on standby of 3 watches (aircrafts) would I stay again? large plus free parking. if people want larger rooms, there are of course some. remember, it is a very old building, but in good repair. normally 4 stars, but I'll sleep 3 for the bad night.

Natural friendly staff. very clean room. very quiet. an excellent choice when they visit theremund!

Good food selection even being a vegetarian was impressed. Highly recommend their deserts, especially the sweet bonsai chocolate mousse

The hotel is located just outside the city center of Dortmund. Rooms are large but a bit old fashioned, as is the (my) bathroom. Bed still comfortable though. I mainly liked the restaurant which has a very warm and cosy interior. The food is also...very good. The breakfast is good as well. Large free parking.
