My friend had Hähnchenbrust knusprig gebacken mit Gemüse, dazu pikante Soße. I had crispy baked duck with ginger-garlic sauce and a mixed salad. We were surprised at how quickly our food arrived at our table, especially when we began to eat and found it was very well prepared and delicious! My duck was indeed crispy, and there were additional portions of the crispy fat layer of the breast which had most of the fat melted out of them. The seasoning was very nice, and we both remarked how nothing was salty, and nothing tasted like they keep MSG in the kitchen. I drank one bottle of Tsingtao beer, and that being enough for the whole meal is a further indication about saltiness. This is NOT your typical Chinese restaurant. My friend enjoyed a large glass of fruit juice from rhubarb, unusual, and she liked it. I didn 't think to tell her at the time, but as I write this, remembered, rhubarb (which is quite popular in parts of Germany) is originally from China, as I recall, especially Manchuria. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a great Chinese meal. If you want cafeteria quality, there 's a restaurant next door called Bamboo, that might be for you. I am NOT knocking it, just being candid about prices and quality of a meal.
