Who you are near Bocholt is easy to find the village of Dorsten. In a very nice place you will find this beautiful inn. A terrace under old trees and a beautiful view of the small lake. Thomas takes his time to prepare wonderful dishes, but also to his visitors personally. The quality of food and the effort to present it makes this place worth a visit. Prices are slightly higher in Germany than on average, but the food and the entourage compensate for this.

Beautiful location with view of the lake. Food was above average and the staff was all friendly and created a beautiful atmosphere.

My husband and I tried this place on a Saturday night. The decor is very beautiful, and the place has a great atmosphere. We started baking with an appetizer of mushrooms in the pastry. It was good and hot. For the net we had both the Zürcher Schnitzel, which was filled with cooked tomatoes and onions and covered with baked mozzarella and sauces. The carving itself was not very delicate, but the taste was very beautiful. Our meal also came with fries, salads and homemade bread. The parts were huge. This restaurant seemed very popular at the 50 crowd and would be a great place for a birthday or family dinner. It has a separate room for large groups that was in use the night we went. Maybe our service was slow. It was noticeably slow, although our waiter was still pleasant and we didn't really care. The bill was only €42, including net, beer, and the appetizer we thought was a beautiful value. It would be great to go in the summer before sunset to have a view of the lake.
