We stopped by Zachary's, located on the opposite side of Robinson's, just for a quick coffee to go. However, we regretted not being able to stay for a meal as the place was clean and the staff was friendly. View all feedback.
What อานนท์ มหานิยม doesn't like about Zachary’s Restaurant:
The owner of this restaurant should give up her involvement with all customers. She uses tactics of embarrassment and hostile interaction. If this was the best food on the planet, I would never recommend anyone eating there as the experience is just not worth the degradation. View all feedback.
Arrived for breakfast with group of 4. Host told us would be 30 min wait because a recent lrg order. Was pushing an hour with no food and decided to leave. The younger male server (wearing a New York Yankees ball cap) cashed us out, and when commenting on the long wait, he did not take the criticism well. He responded "I'm not the god of Time". With a rude response such as that, he cont'd to say "I love catering to tourists" and as we walked out, he said "you suck."WTF. that is all. PS they have a key to their washroom like it's a gas station.
We were told there would be at least a half hour wait for breakfast because of a big order, no problem. Hour passes, nothing. Staff is slow, not one is helpful nor alert. Also THERE IS A KEY TO THE WASHROOM. The only washroom. JUST DRIVE TO LAKE OF BAYS.
So our party of 6 drove over to Dorset for lunch- 4 adults and 2 kids under 6. The first 4 arrived first (5 minutes before my wife and I did) and had a table right away. After 5 minutes a waitress came over. Took a drink order- they were out of lemonade and chocolate milk, good start but that's OK! The menu was very small-which would be fine if they had everything available. ..at lunchtime... on a long weekend...They were out of French onion soup, and the server couldn't remember what the specials were off the top of her head... everyone ordered (except me because I really didn't fancy anything they offered )After the drinks came, another (male) server basically slammed a handful of cutlery on the table. I understand there were 2 of them working the floor but it wasn't exactly heaving. After waiting over 50 minutes, with 2 small, hungry kids, we were getting antsy. One of our party went up to the counter (granted no one had come to check on us or give us an update on the wait) to ask if the food was going to be ready within the next 5 minutes, she was told no. We decided to cut our losses and just pay for the drinks and leave.I left with the kids and another person leaving my wife and her friend to finish up paying. The server said that when my friends came in they were told that it was a 45 minute wait... which they weren't. There was no way we would sit that long with 2 young kids. Then, an older lady, assumed to be the owner, stormed out of the back and demanded that my wife and her friend leave. Apparently she acted intimidating and made a point to be loud enough to ensure the whole room heard.I have never once walked out of a restaurant before food was served. I have never heard of anyone in my network being yelled at by a staff member. The service was absolutely abysmal. I have never in my life been to a place this disorganised with terrible customer service. There are a few decent places within 5 min drive. .. I strongly suggest going elsewhere. There's a nice pub across the bridge from this place or even drive to The Moose cafe (5 min away towards huntsville)

Nice setting on the lake, great food and value. Server very friendly, grandson of the owners. Told him compliments to the cooks and the meal was 100% better then we had last night in a chain restaurant in Huntsville. We where a group of 4 that just spent 4 hours ATVing in the bush and our meals hit the spot. All the best for a great season.
