MIO Bistro was a great experience in every way service, ambiance and food quality were all excellent. Appears to be a husband and wife couple running the very small visible kitchen and cooking each plate by table to order. Between the patio and inside they were only half full but they were turning people away because the kitchen can only properly satisfy a certain number of customers adequately, of should I say, to perfection. So, the take away on that is that reservations are highly suggested from my perspective and I applaud the owners for not overdoing it. The food was really great a combination of gourmet with a real touch of home cooking, in a good way. I had the salad with the shrimp and avocado and the special fish with an amazing lobster/corn/chanterelle mushroom risotto that could have been an entree by itself. Great wine selection. Desserts looked great next time! Bravo!

We began our meal with appetizers of mussels and shrimp, and I had a delicious chicken entrée. The owners pay great attention to detail in every item on their menu. Mio is one of the few restaurants that truly delivers on its menu descriptions. The team at Mio focuses more on providing their guests with an exceptional culinary experience rather than just managing a large dining room. This is what dining should truly be about. Be sure not to miss the opportunity to eat at this exquisite establishment.
