This farmers market is clean and have almost everything you looking for, but i noticed that their Frozen items like their fishes, scallops are not fresh. It’s always have this smell like things that have been kept for a long time. Please frozen foods has to be reviewed. View all feedback.
The market lives up to the hype. The produce section alone had at least twenty things that I'd never seen before in my life, and it took the better part of a gape mouthed hour to browse through the aisles of international goods. There are two baked goods sections a Hispanic bakery and one dedicated to Eastern European pastries and the seafood section dominates much of the back space. For its size, I was surprised it didn't smell fishy, then later realized that must speak to the freshness of the goods. It's immensely difficult to be surrounded by so much food and not want to eat, and it seems the gods of this market understood that because there are two prepared foods sections. One sits on the side of the Asian goods, selling things like savory pancakes, dumplings, sushi, and prepped plates. The other area is more like a food court with a generous sitting area besides. Food from the buffet area is weighed by the pound, and they'll give you the white rice for free (so don't waste your container space on carbs if you don't want to). True to the soul of this international market, the food offerings represented a wide array of ethnicities. I defy you to find another place where you could get a meal plate of fries, beef empanadas, Jamaican beef patties, chicken tikka masala, and Korean bulgogi. None of the offerings were terribly standout in quality, but it was such a fun variety of food that we didn't mind all that much.

It had everything I wanted. A variety of foods from a lot of countries. The price wasn't bad a guess .
Nice store and is very organized. However, it is pretty expensive. Go to Dekalb instead to get a similar experience at half the price.
If I could give this place four and a half stars, I would. This is a tremendous place overall, but in the last yearnor two, The Russian deli bakery section has gone drastically downhill. I don't know if some of the veteran employees quit, or if some of the new help just hasn't been trained properly? The quality has gone downhill. The half sour pickles are now tiny. The freshly made pieroshki meat is COMPLETELY unseason, many of the prepackaged items are past their expiration..... You're just a few examples. It's very sad, because this used to be a fantastic section of the store.
