This Cuban restaurant in Miami is fantastic! I've visited so often that I feel a bit Cuban myself. It's situated in the same building as a gas station, and during lunchtime, you'll often see people parking in front of the pumps. Located just down the street from the Miami Police Department, it’s a favored spot for law enforcement officers to grab a bite. The food is outstanding and might be my favorite Cuban restaurant in the city. The place is very clean, and the staff is friendly and attentive. While they may not always be fluent in English, don’t let that put you off. Everything on the menu is both delicious and affordable. Make sure to stop by the window service for a Cuban coffee on your way out—there's usually a line for it! They have great options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well.
I ordered the Pork Fricassee, and it was absolutely fantastic, served with black beans, rice, and plantains. Both the service and the food are exceptional and truly worth it. Don't miss out on the Three Cake for dessert; it's a delightful way to end your meal. You won't regret it!
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at this gas station. The chicken churasco and tostones were exceptional!
Good food at afordable price. Mostly cuban food. Staff is really nice and the service is fast. You can also have a good breakfast for a few bucks. The ox tail on Fridays is a must. I think they only have breakfast and lunch also during weekends. Sometimes is difficult to get a parking spot since they are in the gas station.
I highly recommend this restaurant. If you are looking for an authentic Cuban cuisine with a home style feel. Unlike other popular MIAMI Cuban food chains, this restaurant serves quality home style food (Not the usual frozen assembly line). It’s restaurant is more of a cafeteria feel than a fancy restaurant but the quality of the food makes up for what it lacks in decor.
