Sloan's Homemade Ice Cream - Doral

Great place. great staff. amazing customer service. would have liked to stay longer in miami so I could buy a day for my children. they really love it, and I too. they also had a great selection of sweets, including tasty for dogs I loved since I am a dog mother. would definitely recommend to go both days and weekends. I personally prefer weekdays as the line is much shorter in these days. the place is also very clean, especially the bathroom. 10/10 without doubt.

We went to celebrate a special occasion with my kids. They ordered sundaes and one was called Flower Child. It looked cute on the menu so we splurged for the presentation. Unfortunately, the presentation was less than appetizing and looked nothing like the photo on the menu. The ice cream tasted good, don't get me wrong! But when you pay that much to have a cute and fun presentation and it turns out like basically nothing more than some ice cream thrown in a terracotta pot, then what's the point? I had been following Sloane's Instagram account and was looking forward to taking my kids there for the experience, so this was a big let down. 3 stars for the location, cute store and yummy ice cream, -2 stars for presentation/misrepresentation and cost for the level of quality we received.

Recently went bowling with the family at Doral City Place right next to Sloan 's in this Miami Heat who wouldn 't want an ice cream to cool off ? Immediately the bright colors and bold name caught my eye. We walked in it 's a mix between an old school ice cream parlor, candy shop every kids dream lol. Vibrant colors everywhere, plus pink LOTS of pink, candy, toys, of course ice cream more pink. Half the shop is an ice cream parlor the other is a candy store bakery ? the have candy apples, brownies, cookies, macaroons . They sell toys as well their walls are filled with stuffed animals, pop it 's, back packs, etc. Their menu is filled with delicious choices including some originals interesting sizing as well I promise they have a choice called the sink . We each got something different. I had butter pecan scoops on a chocolate dipped cone, My daughter got this amazing cookie dough one, my hubby got the s 'mores sundae, my son decided on chocolate ice cream with gummies sprinkles. I have to say the butter pecan was probably the best I 've ever had. Everyone was satisfied with their choices, no complaints. They definitely have something for everyone. Pricey, but treat yourself ! It 's worth it !

Decided to stop here after dinner and it was close to closing time. They didn't rush us and gave us samples to try. The supervisor even let us get cookies even though they were put up for the night. The banana ice cream was great! ???
