Bj's Brewhouse Miami Int. Mall - Doral

Well managed outdoor dining and attentive staff made for joyful experience for family and I.

I was disappointed at how long it took to receive our meals, and the lack of adequate service. We were a party of 4 eating at lunch time, where the restaurant appeared to be semi busy with only 1 waiter. It took 50 minutes for us to receive our meals, which were all sandwiches and fries. The waiter appeared rushed, and stressed and not attentive. The waiter never approached the table prior to receiving our meals or during meal, for refills on our drinks, or check that everything was to our satisfaction.

When we first arrived the host that greeted was super sweet and super nice, which immediately we thought we would be having an amazing time. WE WERE WRONG! We sat for about 20 minutes before the waitress made an appearance to introduce herself. We were a party of ten and she only took half our drink order and then a while later came back and realized she needed to come back to take the order for the rest (She did this during dessert too, and it's not the worst thing she did). After waiting about another 15 minutes she put in our order for 2 appetizers, then we waited 15 more minutes for her to come to take our food order. From the time we received our appetizer to the time we received our food was about half an hour. Once we received the food the quality was TERRIBLE. Their chefs obviously don't know the difference of doneness for meats because the medium rare that some ordered looked the same as the well done that the others ordered. The baby back ribs we had to fight with the bone to be able to get any meat off and as if that wasn't bad enough, our main reason for being there was that it was our BOSS's BIRTHDAY and the waitress came to our table and threw the dessert plate in front of him and said here you go. No one sang Happy Birthday, no one gave us at least a heads up so we can sing for him. It was just thrown and I mean thrown because she didn't place it the plate hit hard on the table (it wasn't the first time either, when the food runner came he also threw a few plates and had an angry look in his face. I understand it's hard to take care of large parties but that's when having patience and customer service is crucial). Either way OUR TEAM will never be back to this restaurant they missed all the marks nothing salvaged this restaurant not the quality of food or attention, just NOTHING. Oh and the waitress also snapped at one of my coworkers for asking her to get the steak redone because it was not how he initially asked for it. Save your time and money!

Food was awesome and well priced. Server was very nice and attentive. Only thing is she never came to pick up our plates, but besides that extremely minor detail, great as usual.
