Food was good! A good enough variety and very tasty. Small but cozy and cute. We sat inside both times, but they seemed to have a really nice outdoor area by the little lake. View all feedback.
What M C doesn't like about Barbecue 58:
Service was good but the food was average. The coconut mojito was terrible. They boast their ribs but I found them to be just okay. Sauce was okay but meat wasn't tender enough for a 12-hour slow cook that they advertise. Nice patio dining area by a canal though. View all feedback.
The soup was sour tasting, and the sandwhich had a strange flavor to it

The food is okay, very overpriced.. the artist were amazing. But the staff seems very passive aggressive very intense not a fan and the manager or owner i don't know or care what she was she has a **** face not welcoming at all needles to say will not be coming back here nor recommending.

I typically stay away from writing negative reviews about local or family owned businesses. However, I cannot believe the nerve of this place to charge what they do for food. It 's not about being able to afford the food, its simply a matter of principle. We had two $19 sandwiches and one soda, which was canned. They charged $3.50 for a canned Coke. I should have known immediately that we were in the wrong place as soon as we learned that didn 't have fountain drinks. Nevertheless, the food was decent at best. I ordered the Sandwich De Costillita, which was basically a fancy McRib. I would have loved to have tried the ribs or chicken, but at $39.99 for a full rack, it just isn 't fiscally responsible. With that said, I would understand if you are thinking, Just because you think it 's too expensive, doesn 't mean its not a good restaurant . Here 's the thing, no matter where you eat, on South Beach or Cutler Ridge, you ALWAYS have to feel like it was worth it. This place even automatically charged a Service Charge of 18% for two of us. If the owner called me personally and offered a free meal, I wouldn 't make the drive. Good luck to Barbecue 58, they 'll need it!
