Description

This restaurant has garnered a blend of opinions among patrons, with experiences ranging from disappointing to delightful. While some diners lament the decline in portion sizes and rough service from the staff, others praise the efficient, friendly service and fresh, flavorful food. Popular items like the fish and chips have received mixed reviews, but a standout dish, the Chicken Kebab, has emerged as a favorite. The atmosphere appears inviting for casual dining, but those seeking vegetarian options might need to look elsewhere. Overall, it offers potential for satisfying meals at reasonable prices, though consistency remains an issue.

--- If you're thinking about grabbing a bite, consider trying Nick’s Takeaway for your first visit. The food was decent—not the best burger I've ever had, but it did the job. I was curious about the owner and learned he's an Asian guy. The food was served hot and fresh, and it arrived quite quickly. They charge $5 for a small fries and $10 for a larger meal. Overall, it wasn't bad, and I might be tempted to return. If you’re not a fan of BBQ sauce, be sure to request tomato sauce when you place your order. It's a solid option if you're looking for a place to eat when you're hungry. If you enjoyed my review, please click the blue hand icon to help encourage others to check out this place! **Vegetarian options:** I don’t believe they offer any vegetarian choices. **Child-friendly:** Kids are welcome as long as they have some money and know what they want. **Parking:** It's a busy area near Doonside Station, so make sure to check for available parking spaces. **Accessibility:** There’s a step to get inside, but once they reach the counter, ordering should be straightforward. **Dietary restrictions:** I'm not sure if they cater to specific dietary restrictions, so it’s best to inquire beforehand. --- Feel free to modify any part of it further!

I decided to give this restaurant a try yesterday. When we first arrived, it wasn't busy, but it started to fill up while we waited for our dinner. Unfortunately, we waited about 25 to 30 minutes only to receive the completely wrong order. On top of that, it was overwhelming. The chips were not great, and since we don't eat crumbs, they ended up going to waste. However, the maishunde was nice. It seemed like the lady who took our order either didn't listen, despite us repeating it four times, or they just decided to give us someone else's order while we waited for ours.

I ordered 6 scallops, 6 nuggets, medium chips, 2 corn jacks, a bottle of Coke, and 2 soft drinks. The total came to $32.60, which I didn't realize was overpriced until I got home. I paid by EFTPOS, and when I opened the food, I found medium-sized chips, 2 corn jacks, and a seafood stick. Overall, I was very disappointed and will not be returning.
