We loved this place so much we went back twice. The service is great, which is a bonus for Spain. The wine list is fabulous and the food is incredible. We’re so glad to have found this hidden gem.

Beautiful little coffee bar and wine shop in central San Sebastian. The Owner works the bar and cold not be more friendly and attentive. Talked with us a lot in English and gave several restaurant recommendations which we appreciated. Serves Illy coffee, which attracted us in the first place. Great selection of wines for sale. Please patronize this local family owned business!

Part wine shop at the front, part pintxo bar in the middle and sit down restaurant in the rear. Had passed n.06 a few times and was very taken with modern look of it and what appeared to be a good selection of wines. Stopped in one time and bought some manzanilla (my favourite bone dry sherry) and txakoli for aperos. People very friendly and helpful, wines good, prices ok but no bargains. Stopped another night for dinner and was very, very impressed with the food. Portions are what you would expect at a pintxo restaurant a pleasant sufficiency but not more. So much of the pintxos of the old town is, while being very enjoyable, is quite formulaic. For the most part, pretty much the same stuff and relying on a single original dish. In a short stay (5 days) I only found 2 restaurants that I thought were truly original and innovative. This was one of them. I ordered a total of 8 plates (over time) and some were quite simple but using the best possible ingredients (the real key to good food) and others were well prepared in a very imaginative style. I returned a few days later to stock up with a dozen or so wines that you don 't easily find. A real pleasure and will most definitively return.

Stefania, our concierge at the Hotel Maria Cristina recommended this little wine bar for wine tasting. Nice selection of wines reasonably priced. There are 4 whites and 4 reds by the glass priced at 3 €-5 €. There is a cute little restaurant in the back. We ordered the cecino and it was EXCELLENT! They also sell olive oils, salts, olives and peppers in jars, and tins. We visited this wine bar a few times during our stay in San Sebastian and Marcos was extremely knowledgeable when it came to the wine and food.
