The portions were large for the price and the food was of good quality. The Veal Kebab special of the day was exceptional - flavorful, tender, and juicy. It was so filling that most people in the room struggled to finish it. The scallops, fisherman's basket, and burgers were also delicious. The only downside was that the room was really noisy due to all the hard surfaces, and the car park was gravelly and muddy.

The atmosphere is fantastic, the service is excellent, and they still serve delicious classic pub meals. There is a backyard where kids can play and a small arcade area in the back. The only thing missing is a playground, but the kids are still entertained by watching the trains go by. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

Small... read more Made a table reservation with someone named Mel over the phone only to be told there wasn't a booking but we were still able to get a table unfortunately. Small serving thankfully as I think a larger serving would have been the death of me within 20 minutes I was on the toilet where I remained all night and day. Thought I was dying. Will never return. Don't eat here noticed the old brunette lady with glued on eyelashes and no hairnet or hat to keep her unkept messy hair in was working in the kitchen. Clearly a big no no when working with food and beverages. Also right on train line so don't eat outside loud trains flying by constantly. Kalkallo pub is the one to go too. Don't want anyone to feel the way I did. Vegetarian options: No good for vegetarians or dietary restrictions. Parking: No where safe to park. Gravel uneven small carpark no good for disabled, elderly, prams or good cars.
