Amazing gardens... delightful hosts in Marc and Sarah and delicious wood fired pizza's. The birdlife in the stunning gardens is just beautiful and the whole afternoon was fantastic. Marc makes a nice coffee and the home made cakes were very tasty. I can recommend this...venue for couples, families and small events as they have built a lovely unique function room. Definitely worth a visit... but check first as i think... View all feedback.
Visited for lunch with friends. Service was fine but perhaps a bit in your face and less talking from the owner would be prudent. Food was ok without being special. The restaurant is not licenced, so you take your own alcohol if required. It was a very nice day outside and being a weekend I would expect more customers if it was popular but that was not the way it was.If our friends did not take us there we would not have known the restaurant existed. I have been past it many times in the past but as the sign is very small and not easy to see, there must be a very large number of potential customers driving on by.The garden is large and interesting but appears to be a bit too much for the owners as there is work to do to bring it up to top standard. Having said that they have obviously worked hard to establish a huge area and the challenge is in front of them.Being a country restaurant, it is ok if you need a meal but I would not drive any distance again to eat there.

A gem of a place with pizza's on the menu BYO. The best pizza I have ever had and a gorgeous garden and lake. Very gracious host.
Absolutely love this place. Great service, amazing wood fired pizza and beautiful gardens and little birds. We always stop in here on our way down south. Thanks to Mark for always a great experience
We stopped in yesterday afternoon and as we had been in the car awhile we went down to the gardens first...my husband advised the gentleman that we would be back up to order a coffee (+/_ cake).I was waiting in the courtyard with my daughters for him and my son to come up from the gardens and was basically told very rudely by the woman serving that the gardens were not there to wander around without putting in an order...basically...órder or go !The way she spoke to us was disgusting and my 2 teen daughters were also pretty shocked.I may not look like a local but i am ( but nobody deserves that treatment) and we have stopped there before for pizzas, coffee etc and not had this experience.I understand that she was trying to tell us that it was a business and not a free garden but her attitude and way she spoke was sadly so disappointing. We will not be back and will not be bringing any foreign/overseas friends and family here for fear of how they would be treated. It nearly spoilt our last day out with the kids before school started...we drove in silence to Bridgetown where thankfully we ended up having a lovely glass of cider at a very nice establishment and chatting to the owner and manager for a while. It renewed our faith in country Australia and it was good for my children to see that not everyone treats people in such a shoddy way.
