This is the first time I have been in here, passed it lots of ti... read more Popped in on a very busy Saturday night to try the Thai restaurant which is above the bar area. This is the first time I have been in here, passed it lots of times. Had a drink in the bar first which was really nice and a great atmosphere. We then went upstairs to the Thai restaurant. Four of us orders the set menu, £20 per head, which consisted of mixed starters and then mains were rice, curries and pad Thai noodles. Plenty to eat and lovely flavours. We then finished with a nice coffee. We all had a drink with out meal and it came to £100, which I think is about right for what we got. They do a lunch menu which I will come back to try. You can also order normal pub fayre downstairs in the bar. Will definitely be back.

Didn’t get offered drinks and when we did eventually get seated (20mins late) the lady just plonked our menus on the table and walked off without any communication whatsoever. Could have been so much better and “being really busy” is not an excuse for poor manners and service.

Two of us just ordered some basic stuff, soup, chips etc. Waited over half an hour before chasing up and being told it was on it's way. After another 15 minutes, some turned up but part of the meal didn't. After another wait the rest came out, no apology or anything.Very disappointing as it was pretty quiet in the bar, so no idea what took so long. Had to rush down as much as we could and get back to work.

I shall definately return and can highly recommend this Thai restaurant as a place that caters for couples, small or large groups.

I have dined here a few times now and have always had a lovely meal, staff are also very attentive.
