I booked a table of 8 for dinner last night and had no better experience. more attentive waiter (if we have his name to compose him directly) who was also very polite! the eating was delicious, especially the Camembert bites and super filling! we thought it was all very good price and it had a nice atmosphere! amazing to see all negative feedback and cannot understand for living from me why! do not sleep in the boat... boat inn sprotborough. four of us went to the boat inn on Wednesday. we came to drink at 4.50 and found a table. I had searched on the website and saw that they had a set menu 3 curs for 10, so I went into the bar to ask for it. The boat inn is a beautiful place also on a cold wet December night in the week before Christmas and looked promising when we arrived at around 19:30 clock the time I had chosen during the booking by this website in the evening before. I was surprised that I had to register my car, but this process and the fact that they had to do was clear and straight. we were great in a warm and friendly way and expected the place was busy, but not packed, we had a small table where personal or other quests had to squeeze past to make it a little unpleasant, especially if a large table does not remember in passing through our stay empty. it soon became clear that everything was not good when other guests were asked where their meals or drinks were. we also had to remind the 2 employees that we had not received our drinks 20 minutes after the order. our food took a while to come, especially the main course, but apart from lukewarm tweebel rings it was most pleasant. this seems such a scandal for such a big venue as if they appear on this website 12 months ago the problems of being the same even up to the cold whirlpool rings! I would go back to the boat inn especially in the summer, but I would hope not to experience the same problems again.

Prawn and lobster cocktail starter was very bad, a few translucent garnel and a tiny amount of lobster that looked like it had been through a coin machine. salad was just salat very strange! no taste. three times cooked chips? more like many chips again very bad standard and not many of them.
I have mixed feelings about the boat inn. when we arrived, they had no record of my booking, but fortunately they had a table free anyway. they needed a long time to order us. once ordered, the food arrived fast, but my wobbles were cold and my sweet kartoffel friries were burned. dessert was beautiful. when I asked about the bill, it hadn't arrived half an hour later until I found a worker and asked to pay. overall I was disappointed with this visit.
Great food, **** slow service. But I still go back on a regular basis
