The staff are very polite and helpful, at busy times I have had to wait a little longer however the... read more I have visited L'Cafe several times over the last few weeks. The staff are very polite and helpful, at busy times I have had to wait a little longer however the coffee, food and service have been worth the slightly longer wait. I am not a fan of fast food.. I prefer good food that is worth waiting a little longer for.

The portions of chip... read more The restaurant is clean and spacious, with plenty of room to eat comfortably. The staff are amazing and willing to help with any questions. The portions of chips are generous. Take a good look at the menu and try the veggie burger, which has a delicious and unique flavor. The prices are reasonable, making it a great spot for friends to meet up and have a good time.

When it finally got to me the food... read more Work colleagues came here on the lunch run. They waited over 20 mins for food after ordering so were late back to the office. When it finally got to me the food was disappointing. We specifically went as they do a veggie chili. It's my guess that they ran out or were not serving it. Instead of saying it wasn't available decided to knock something up (hence the long wait). Tinned toms, a few beans and veggie sausages do not make a veggie chilli. No spices, no flavour and no side salad as advertised. Not good and at £6 per person not cheap.

The place is spotlessly clean and they bring your order to the table, no need to wait in line forever. We found that 2 lattes were £1.10 cheaper here than at Costa's, and there was no waiting to be served.
